>>>>updates 281105<<<<<

My wife had a scan today, and the doctor confirm the baby is a 'SHE'.

I reserved my feeling for now as it could be a boy. All I want is a healthy baby and solehin. Our first baby, the doc said 110% sure its a boy. Now she is certain the baby is a girl. We just pray for the best.

The development is normal and no abnormality so far. Insya Allah it will stay until she is born.

>>>>>information #1<<<<<

TODAY

Your baby now weighs around 450g/1lb and is proportioned like a newborn; a thin one since no body fat has been stored yet.

the baby (gender is yet known) is kicking about and I still did not manage to catch the moment. According to the mother, this fella is kicking more than our first son had. A good sign for a healthy baby. However we still have to monitor the kicking rate as there was a case when the baby kicking frantically and suddenly stop.

Her doctor found out the baby was struggling with his breathing because of his umbilical cord is wrap around his neck. Unfortunately the baby died in the wound.
Nauzubillah.

>>>>>saving cost<<<<<

Almost everyone would do the same as what we are going to do.

Recycle.

A good word when it comes to saving cost. Of course I am talking about our new baby's clothes and other things obsolete to Muhammad, for example his newborn shirt and his cot.

That's why I try to avoid buying pink color clothes as it would certainly draw people attention to a girl rather than a boy. Blue or green should fit either girl or boy. I know some people migh argue that baby do not argue which colour of his / her clothes, even they do not realised their existance until they are around 24 months, however at least I feel good on how my baby is dress.

They are learning new things everyday and one day they will learn that their cry will draw attention. Muhammad used to cry his heart out when he wake up from his sleep, but now he only cry a few second just to make sure someone is around the house. Only when there is no one approaching him he would cry his hearts out.

>>>>tribute<<<<<

A tribute to our second arrival which based on doctor calculations, will be around middle of March 2006.

It only fair to the baby that we created a special blog for him or her. My wife has not done a detailed scan, but when we know the result you will be the first to know (well not the first, its more like a figure of speech).

I know all to well when the baby is finally due it will be hard to maintain both blog, muhammad.net and this one. But I give my best shot as we do have a wireless connection at home. However we should be looking to save some money to buy digital camera as my loan term digital camera expired, most probably in February 2006 the latest.

In the meantime, do enjoy the diary of our new arrival. Please make doa for the mother a smooth delivery and a health baby. May he or she become a muslim and solihin. Amin
